TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking

A booking form must be completed and signed where indicated.  The person who signs the form shall be deemed to act as the agent for all persons shown on the form and his/her signature binds all such persons, including the signatory jointly and severally to the booking terms and conditions.

Payment Conditions

By completing and sending the booking form, you agree with your booking and the following terms.

When paying with credit card, your total booking price balance will be paid within a 4 month period, in equal installments. The first installment will be paied upon booking.

When paying through PayPal or Bank Transfer, you are obliged to pay the full amount after signing the booking form.

As soon as your deposit has been received we will also send you an email confirming your booking.

If we do not receive your deposit, we will consider the place available for re-booking.

Payment of your deposit will be taken as your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and will constitute a contract between yourself and ArtMade Vacations.

Any additional Bank fees are paid by the guest.

Once your deposit has been paid, the terms and conditions apply as set out below:

Discounts

For groups of 5 artists or more, a 15% discount will apply on the rate of single occupancy.

Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel any course at 8 weeks’ notice, and we will do our best to provide an alternative course or date.  Although highly unlikely, we will advise you as soon as possible.  If our offer of an alternative course or date is not accepted, a total refund of your deposit will be made.

Cancellation Refunds

  • If we are forced to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund the full amount.
  • If you must cancel 4 weeks or more, before the course starts, we will refund 60% of the amount already paid (not including the deposit).
  • If you must cancel 2 – 4 weeks before the course starts, we will refund 40% of the amount allready paid (not including the deposit).
  • If you must cancel 1 – 2 weeks before the course starts, we will refund 20% of the amount already paid (not including the deposit).
  • 100% is payable, if you cancel less than a week prior to the course.    

Hospitality

All prices are inclusive of electricity, hot water and cleaning.  Upon your arrival you will find clean towelling and beds made up with clean linen.  Linens and towels will be changed every two days.

We do our utmost to ensure our guests’ satisfaction and will aim to resolve problems should they arise in order to provide a pleasant holiday experience for all our guests.

For any loss or damage to the property or fixtures, the cost of repair or replacement will be paid to the owners of the accommodation by the guest(s).

Transportation

Transportation will be available to and from painting locations, excursions, to and from arrival and departure sites.

Αrrival and departure times

Please complete your arrival by 20:00 on the first day of your holiday.  If you anticipate an earlier arrival, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

We will be either at the airport or the dock to pick you up on the arrival day and we will drop you off at the airport or the port on your departure day in a timely manner.  If you wish to travel by your own transportation, state that in an email to us and we will ensure to give you all the necessary details that you need.

Health Insurance

We strongly recommend to our guests to takeout health insurance to cover any unforeseen health issues.  We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course, due to accident, illness or bodily injury.

Allergies and other health issues

Guests are able to use the ArtMade facilities at their leisure and own risk.  Safety notes on paints and other chemicals must be obeyed, and no responsibility is taken for injury to the person or damage to clothing and other personal items due to improper or negligent use.

Painting excursions will be held in grounds that are accessible to all guests, but care must be taken when walking around, as there are uneven surfaces due to the nature of the local area.  We do not take responsibility for personal safety in areas not open to the public.

The garden at Repanidi House has a dining area and outside sitting facilities for guests to sit and relax.  There are nearby country roads for leisure walks and appropriate/reasonable footwear is recommended for this purpose.

Amendments

We may change your course – on occasion it may be necessary to amend the arrangements of your course and we reserve the right to do so at any time.  In this event we will inform you as soon as possible.

Misadventure

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your stay with us due to accident, illness or bodily injury, or loss of equipment or belongings, or from any other cause.  We would stress the absolute necessity for you and the other members of your party to effect appropriate insurance cover.

Force majeure / Unforseen circumstances

Deposit refunds do not apply when your course is cancelled as a result of risk of war or threat of civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, pandemic and similar events beyond our control.

Smoking

Smoking indoors is not permitted.   

Pets

You may bring your pet with you on your ArtMade vacation. However, you are requested to provide their food and sleeping accommodations and keep them on a leash at all times.  Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture and during courses.
