Paris Asvestas was born in Athens in 1970 and is a graduate of École des Beaux Arts in Besançon, France.
He has worked as assistant professor at the École des Beaux Arts in Besançon, with sculptor Georges Oudot.
He is currently teaching art to children and adults in various municipalities in Athens, and in his own studio.
He works in the restoration process of neo-classical buildings in Athens and also designs and constructs props for theatre productions, masks and accessories.
He acted as member of the organizing committee for the new artists’ show “Image-Space-Action” in Athens in 2008, and the exhibition “Human Imagery”, Athens 2010.
Paris has put on six solo exhibitions in France and Switzerland and participated in many group exhibitions in Europe and Greece.
He has received the “Grand Prix” award at the international exhibition of Lyon- “Salon de Printemps 2003”.
Many of his art works belong to private collections in Greece, Cyprus, France, Switzerland and the USA.
